After completing compulsory school, I visited HTBLuVA Graz Gösting, an institution of higher education for electronics, which I passed in 1992 with distinction. Afterwards, I did military service and temporary employments abroad in the area of electrical and communication engineering. The study of surveying at Graz University of Technology, finally, was the basis for my later occupational activities. My employment in a surveying office was another important milestone during my education.

After completing my study in 2002 with distinction, I got the opportunity to work for TeleConsult Austria, which brought valuable experiences. But now it was time to set another milestone: By obtaining the authorization for practicing the business of "Mechatronics for Electronics and Computing Systems", I started my career as entrepreneur and founded GeoMatica OG together with my colleague Günther Abwerzger.

Besides my occupational work, I spend as much time as possible with my wife and my little son. Volunteer firefighter, model building, and montainbiking are my spare time jobs.
